Sanming Huajian Bioengineering Company Limited has set up a 3100-mu of Uncaria Wild Semi-tending Base in Sanyuan District & Meilie District , Sanming city. The bases will yield 60kgs of dry Uncaria medicine per Mu and produce 186,000 kilograms of Uncaria by the period of economic maturity annually,also they will get the annual output of 500,000 kilograms of stems and branches.The Uncaria medicinal product from the base belongs to the Department of Rubiaceae Uncaria and is one of high-grade and good-quality Uncaria derived from 10 kinds of domestically-produced goods Uncaria plant. The bases medicine was submitted to Sanming City Institute of Drug Test for testing, the results showed that all tested indexes were higher than the required standards stated in Edition No.1 of Chinese Codex published in 2005.
